Kaihaapai Finance (Finance Administrator) Creditors

The primary purpose of the Kaihaapai Finance (Finance Administrator) is to Whakatipungia Ngaa Rauru Kiitahitanga by providing an efficient and effective, high quality, finance and accounting support service to the broader Te Kaahui o Rauru Group. Totara Hoe (Corporate Services) is responsible for supporting the strategic and business goals and objectives of Te Kaahui o Rauru, its subsidiaries and businesses (The Group). The key function of the role includes:
- Leading high level finance and accounting support service and coordination across the Group
- Coordinating and providing implementation support to the overall financial management of the organisation on a day-to-day basis
- Ensuring the integrity of Te Kaahui o Rauru Group at all times
As a small organisation, we require staff to be team players, multi-functional, and to pitch in and help as and when required. Our goal is to ensure the Corporate Services function operates in an efficient, effective, professional manner, and can operate at full capacity.
Requirements of the role include:
- Level 5+ qualification in accounting, finance or similar business
- A minimum of 2 years in a similar finance or business administration role
- Substantial and proven experience in supporting a diverse team
- Knowledge of accounting software, particularly Xero
- Proficient with office structures and systems and the use of technology in an evolving office environment
- Experience building and maintaining credible, trusting, professional relationships
- Can communicate clearly and effectively both in written and oral form with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working in kaupapa Maaori / Kaupapa Iwi organisations
