BECOME A REGISTERED MEMBER OF NGAA RAURU KIITAHI

The Ngaa Rauru Iwi Register is maintained by Te Kaahui o Rauru as the:

  • post-settlement governance entity for the Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Claims Settlement Act 2005
  • mandated iwi organisation under the Māori Fisheries Act 2004
  • Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi representative iwi authority for the Resource Management Act.

 

ENROLMENT MATTERS

All uki of Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi are eligible to register.

Registration will enable uki to:

  • stay informed about the work we do
  • vote on important matters (if you are over 18), including Te Paepae (trustee) elections and amendments to Te Kawa.
  • apply for education grants and other initiatives

Parents can register their children under 18; however, anyone over 18 must complete their own registration.

 

VALIDATION

All new registrations undergo a validation process. Our iwi register team will review and confirm your details and may request additional information to verify your links to Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi.

 

IWI REGISTER

We have moved our iwi register to the “YourIwi” platform, an Aotearoa based online tool that helps iwi maintain a secure, confidential iwi register and connect with uki.
