Led by our Pou Take Aahuarangi, this session opens space to koorero about Climate Adaptation, what it means for Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi, and how we can prepare collectively for the future.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY – Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi Taiao Waananga

Dive into a range of taiao kaupapa including:

• Haumaru Ngaa Taonga Research Project – Dr Claire Dowsett & Patrick Woon

• Wai Connection & Taiao Management in our rohe

• Understanding and protecting piharau in our awa

• Exploring our Waitootara lakes

This waananga is open to all ages, with accommodation provided at Tauranga Ika Marae. Bring your whaanau, your curiosity, and your whakaaro as we strengthen our relationship with the taiao and with each other.
