TKOR Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Te Kaahui o Rauru is excited and pleased to announce the official appointment of Renée Bradley as Chief Executive Officer. After a thorough and vigorous process, what resonated was Renée’s commitment, dedication, and passion to Ngaa Rauru, as well as her success and achievements in management roles.
Having already dedicated many years of service to her people, Renée is a familiar face within Ngaa Rauru. She is an experienced leader at Te Kaahui o Rauru and has held multiple senior roles at the organisation including General Manager for Te Haapai Mauri, both the Tribal Development and Corporate Service Manager roles, and has spent time on the Governance Board.
Renée’s strong background in management and governance waspoignant in her role as Business Manager at Te Oranganui Trust, the position she held prior to returning to Te Kaahui o Rauru in 2021. Her return came at a key time as she was tasked to implement changes following an internal restructure, building capacity and capability within the organisation to meet strategic objectives.
“Being able to step up and do this work for my iwi is a great privilege. I look forward to working with the Paepae and our operations team to build on the strengths we already have at Te Kaahui o Rauru, tackling the challenges and embracing the opportunities that lie ahead of us to support our people to Whakatipungia Ngaa Rauru Kiitahitanga” says Bradley.
Like many organisations, the last few years have been difficult for Te Kaahui o Rauru facing challenging demands, business disruption and the social, economic and emotional impacts of Covid. Bradley said “our ability to deliver on our strategy was really affected last year so we are excited to go back to our vision, define what this means for Ngaa Rauru uri today, and look at how to support and empower our marae and whanau to achieve this”.
Te Tumu Whakarae, Mike Neho, has praised the appointment stating, “The wealth of experience she brings to the Chief Executive role means we have a leader who has already demonstrated skill and commitment to steering the organisation onward and upward. Renée’s steady hand will help our Paepae achieve the strategic aspirations of Ngaa Rauru Kiitahi”.
